Wine Sample Policy

At Wine Today, we are open to sample anything and everything—that includes both wine and wine-related products. We will try our best to get a review up quickly and highlight a little bit about the winery in the process for background purposes.

We accept samples because it allows us to perhaps try something we never otherwise would have reviewed, been aware of or quite frankly, be able to afford with some wines being quite pricey. Our ultimate goal is to provide information to the consumer.

Our reviews are open to any winery, marketing company/PR firm, beer maker, beer marketing company or goods manufacture.

There is two ways we can sample:

1. Ship wine to our location (email burk@winetoday.net for address)
2. We travel to you. Living in the San Francisco Bay Area, we are less than 90-minute to most wineries in the greater Bay Area (Napa, Sonoma, Lodi, Livermore, Contra Costa, and even other areas). Of course, while on location, we can snap photographs and videos.

A few caveats:

1. Wine reviews will identify if the item is “sample provided”
2. While we will try to get reviews up in a timely fashion, we cannot promise any sort of timeline for when a review will be posted.
3. A review is what it is a review/opinion.

What is included:

1. Wine Name and Description
2. Opinion
3. Suggested price
4. Contact information/website
5. Brief history/overview of the company – may require a brief phone call.

Our reviews are open to any winery, marketing company/PR firm, beer maker, beer marketing company or goods manufacture.
